Please meet our organist, choir director, and worship director!
I’ve been a member of Mt. Tabor since 1975. On that first Sunday, we felt the love of the congregation and were welcomed with open arms, we became members shortly after and Mt. Tabor became our church home. I’ve always loved traditional church music and joined the chancel choir. In time, was an assistant organist, and in 1997 became the full-time organist, a position that I have cherished ever since. I look forward every week to serving my congregation in this capacity and praising God thru music.
If you found yourself on a deserted island and food / shelter were taken care of, what three things would you want with you and why?
If I were stranded on a deserted island, I would want my Bible and hymn book/music books, pictures of my family, and a piano to pass the time.
My “coming to Christ moment / story” is:
I accepted Christ in my life when I was 16 years old, after attending a church revival with some friends. In 1972, I was blessed with a wonderful Christian wife, then a daughter, and eventually a son-in-law and two granddaughters, who are the light of my life.
